Job Title – Sales Executive

Location – Internal role, based at DVS Cardiff

Role Summary – Reporting directly to the External Sales Manager & External Team Leader, the candidate will be responsible for the area management of set accounts in a designated sales territory. As well as this, the successful candidate will have regular proactive contact relationship with customers including face to face meetings, video calls and site visits where necessary and ensuring that DVS is represented in a professional manner.




  • Achieve individual sales/KPI target through maintaining and growing current accounts customer base
  • Develop and maintain an active project pipeline for the sales territory
  • Working closely and forming a team with Area Sales Manager covering the same territory
  • Ensure forecast is up to date through communication with sales management
  • Spending two days each week out the office visiting customers and the remaining three days in the Cardiff Head Office
  • Managing your own calendar and booking appointments and hot desks in the office when they are required
  • When working from Head Office reporting directly with Internal Sales Manager whilst keeping External Sales Manager up to date
  • Maintain regular contact with key suppliers
  • Working with other departments within DVS to ensure a smooth sales process
  • Must attend exhibitions, events and meetings the business is undertaking including nights away from home (when necessary)
  • Attend the weekly Monday group video/audio call with the external sales team
  • Attend monthly sales meetings, with on-going active involvement
  • Actively working together with regular communication and continued involvement with external team leader/manager
  • Make sure that all communication both up and down is delivered in the right way
  • Continue to works towards the DVS Mission/Vision at all times
  • Promote health and safety in the work place
  • Ensure company values and behaviours are promoted
