Job Title: Sales Assistant

Location: Cardiff

Role Summary: This is a full-time role requiring the candidate to be available 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday. The role also requires a heavy amount of support to be provided to the Internal and External Sales Managers. This will include planning, administration, creating presentations and other associated tasks required by the Sales Managers. You will also be required to support the External and Internal Sales Managers customers as and when needed. Full support, instructions and training will be provided. We expect a positive and focused attitude towards the role and the associated duties.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing support and assisting the Internal Sales Team Manager
  • Providing support and assisting the External Sales Team Manager
  • Preparing quotations and processing orders through Sage/ CRM
  • Assisting with incoming telephone queries and requests such as customer queries pricing, stock levels, stock availability and product recommendations
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure orders are despatched efficiently
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Ensuring customer applications are set up in a timely manner
  • Liaising with customers to keep them informed of their order progress
  • Making outbound calls. This again, could include keeping customers informed of order progression
  • Proving support to the sales team by ensuring back orders are completed on time
  • Completing and updating a CRM system
  • Creating presentations via Microsoft Office 365
  • Helping out with supporting the team with an online chat service, when required.
