Marketing Executive
DVS Ltd, the UK’s fastest growing multi-brand distributor of electronic surveillance products have an exciting opportunity. We are seeking a marketing executive to join our industry leading & highly creative marketing department.
Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for a range of duties including (but not limited to) website maintenance (including SEO practices), supporting social media/direct campaigns including the creation of content, generally supporting/growing and implementation of the marketing strategy & managing customer contacts.
This role is ideal for an ambitious marketing executive looking to creatively contribute to top level campaigns in an environment where all ideas & suggestions are considered!
This is a demanding role requiring efficiency and organised working practices. Candidates should be prepared to work on their own initiative (whilst being part of a very strong team environment).
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain the DVS website with products & content using WordPress (with SEO practices considered)
- Manage the Real Installer page and become the champion of Real Installers activities and promotions
- Manage the creation of engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) (inc. content creation, copy writing and creating landing pages)
- Manage customer contacts and distribute to the appropriate departments or sales people
- Designing and implementing paid social media advertising campaign
- Creation of supplier landing pages and content within WordPress
- Creating or manipulating pre-created graphics for web and social media using graphic design packages
- Support the creation of the DVS Price List
- Creation of the Monthly Newsletter
Roles:
- Support the successful implementation of the overarching Marketing Strategy
- Support the Marketing Team with relevant administration duties
- Act as a marketing point of contact and support customers & sales people through responding to their marketing related enquiries
- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
- Development of team and personal processes to improve efficiency and performance
- Researching, creating and presenting ideas into the marketing team and (when appropriate) implementation
- Support the running of DVS events (including attending when required)
Key Attributes:
- Experience working with WordPress CMS is essential
- Experience working with adobe software is extremely desirable
- 1 year working in a similar role
- Ideally have BA/BSc degree (Candidates with no degree will need to have a minimum of 2 years working in a similar role)
- Video editing capabilities is extremely desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong creativity skills and excellent attention to detail
- Able to take ownership, be accountable and take responsibility of their workload
- Must be flexible and available to stay away to attend events
- Must be able to commute to our Cardiff office
- Good multi-tasking skills along with time management skills
- Office and home working availability

This is a full-time role requiring the candidate to be available 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday. Salary negotiable depending on the candidate and experience.
